The Regenerate Thumbnails plugin helps you recreate image sizes (thumbnails) for all images in your media library. This is especially useful when:
- You change your theme (which uses different image sizes)
- You add new image sizes via code or a plugin
- Your thumbnails appear distorted, cropped, or missing
What Does It Do?
When you upload images, WordPress automatically creates several resized versions (thumbnails, medium, large, etc.). If your theme or settings change, existing images won’t match the new sizes. This plugin regenerates them without re-uploading.
